Error while rendering inner content, what shall I do?

This confusing error gives rise to loads of "deactivate all your plugins and reactivate them one by one" style advice.
FIRST OF ALL: check the address of your site in the settings: sometimes it is in https: while your site is in https. Resetting the s and saving the settings fixes this problem like magic 😉
