When do you need to regenerate the Oxygen CSS cache

When you need to regenerate the Oxygen CSS cache:

  • After changing global colors
  • After changing breakpoints global settings
  • After migrating the site from http to https
  • After migrating a site from one domain to another
  • Sometimes after updating Oxygen

You don't need to regenerate the Oxygen CSS cache if:

  • If you've added new elements and don't see them on the frontend
  • If you have changed the text content and you don't see the changes on the frontend
  • If you have changed the image and don't see the change on the frontend
  • If the Oxygen Editor displays red error messages
  • If you see a broken site layout inside the Oxygen editor
  • If there are JavaScript errors in the browser console
  • If the interface of the Oxygen editor is broken
  • If you can't open the Oxygen editor (endless loading)
  • If you only see a white canvas when you open the Oxygen Editor
  • Because everyone does it, but I don't know why
  • You get off on the wrong foot

Often, your problem may be related to the settings of the server caching systems (such as LiteSpeed, Redis, Memcached, Breeze...) or some kind of optimization plugin, and not with the Oxygen cache.
